Produtction area

The Maso Poli vineyards, owned by the Togn family, are located in the heart of the Avisiane hills. They extend to the municipality of Lavis, in the direction North towards Adige through the Municipality of San Michele A/A. This is a land full of vineyards, with unique soil characteristics, microclimate and exposure. The richness of the marl and clay soil, the exposure to the South West and the constant breeze ensure optimum conditions for a prefect ripening of the grapes.

Vinification

The yield per hectare is low and harvesting is done manually with a careful selection of the grapes. It follows a vinification with a soft pressing and a fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18°C with a long refinement of the lees.

Grape variety

Nosiola shows a medium sized, compact, stretched, sometime wing-shaped cluster; with a copper medium size colored berry and a juicy pulp with a neutral flavor. It has a medium size leaf, trefoil.

Organoleptic analysis

It presents a pale yellow color.
The nose is pleasant with notes of flowers. The wine is mineral, fruity and fresh on the palate, with a light aftertaste of hazelnut. Loved for its elegance, it is best consumed within few years from the harvest.

50 – 54 F. – Uncork at the moment of serving.
